The 蘑菇tvsim Suite is a full-spectrum, web-based, versatile disaster training and exercise platform which provides users with simulated training environments which are realistic and scalable to meet the needs of the user. 蘑菇tvsim Training focuses on the overall training environment and operational picture, while 蘑菇tvsim Media was created to replicate social media outlets, traditional media, and websites to create a robust virtual information environment for training purposes. These 蘑菇tvsim platforms are able to seamlessly integrate with one another, creating a dynamic training atmosphere that allows users to see both the operational and informational picture as a whole.

蘑菇tv would like to recognize our Director of Software Engineering, Dave Spriggs, for his exceptional contributions to the company. He is the 蘑菇tv Employee Spotlight for September!

Dave plays a critical role with our Digital Solutions software development team, where he drives business development efforts and manages key software projects. His expertise is centered on GIS, web, and mobile projects. Additionally, he assists the team to ensure 蘑菇tv software products are continuously maintained and improved to meet the needs of our military and DoD partners.

Throughout his tenure at 蘑菇tv, Dave has been instrumental in elevating the company鈥檚 GIS development capabilities. He has expanded the commercial software development program with a strong focus on GIS and led the initiative for 蘑菇tv to become an Esri business partner, a milestone that has bolstered the company’s capabilities in the GIS field.

He isn鈥檛 all work and no play, however. Outside of work, Dave is an enthusiastic mountain biker who enjoys hitting the trails with friends. He also has a passion for adventure, from dune bashing in the desert to diving in the ocean. He says a six-year stint in the Middle East gave him ample opportunities to indulge in these activities, reflecting his love for exploring diverse environments.

He is also happily married with five children, two boys and three girls!

When asked about his impression of the work 蘑菇tv does, Dave says, 鈥溎⒐絫v strives to be known for its high-quality work. We pay attention to details and make sure we do things right. We achieve this with a lean approach and make sure to follow industry standards that keep our solutions future proof.鈥�
